Dr. Tracie Pollard

Experience: Dr. Tracie Pollard has delivered numerous nationwide presentations and worked internationally with teachers and administrators on literacy, instructional engagement, conceptual teaching and classroom management. She has worked internationally (Australia, British Virgin Islands and Dominican Republic) with teachers and administrators to support school reform initiatives, was a professor of pre-service Education courses: Elementary, Secondary and Early, and childhood, and mentored street kids and gangs in Chicago.
Licensure: Dr. Tracie Pollard has a Masters in Administration, BS in K-12 Special Education as both an Exceptional Specialist and Generalist, BS in Elementary Education and Adult & Post-Secondary Learning, and Ed. D in Adult Learning and Post-Secondary Education.
Accomplishments: With over 20 years of experience coaching pre-service teachers and administrators, Dr. Tracie Pollard specializes in classroom management, instructional design, teaching methods, and leadership. She also founded a Lab School where future educators apply theory to practice beginning in their freshman year.
Dr. Teresa Stauffer

Experience: Dr. Teresa Stauffer has years of experience successfully teaching all levels, leadership as a state literacy coach, elementary principal, K-12 principal, and school district superintendent. In addition to teaching and leadership, Teresa has years of experience in higher education developing teacher education courses, teaching courses to both elementary and secondary pre-service teachers, supervised field experiences and student teaching, collaborated with other institutions of higher learning and state licensing offices.
Licensure: Dr. Teresa Stauffer currently holds licenses for Elementary teaching K-8, Administration Leadership all levels, English Language Learners (also known as English as a second language) K-12, and Special Education Generalist K=12. These qualifications and experiences have given her the passion for supporting and training teachers.
Accomplishments: The most unique accomplishment fitting for supporting individualized teacher training is that of co-authoring the Alternative Route to Licensure Program for Great Basin College and approved by the state of Nevada. Implementing the ARL Program, the first year saw 20 participants in 12 different school districts and by the end of the first three years of the program 873 teachers were supported with online courses, individualized consulting and in-classroom support. Those students at a great distance were supported using interactive technology and real-time feedback.
In addition to the paid responsibilities during these years of experience in education, Dr. Teresa Stauffer volunteered her consulting services to area public school districts by providing training in Special Education. The consulting services included case management and student advocacy (especially with students having Autism/ASD), training by modelling and facilitating IEP meetings, training in creating reasonable and measurable goals, training in legal issues relating to the latest court cases and school practices and responsibilities, and modelling behavior management strategies that benefit students.
Dr. Teresa Stauffer brings a wealth of knowledge and skills to teachers new to the classroom and can support teachers in all levels of education to learn and hone teaching skills with individualized support.
